CPD Opportunities

All conference delegates can receive a Certificate of Attendance that can be included in your Continuous Professional Development (CPD) personal portfolio. Please email admin@iaha.com.au to request your certificate and it will be emailed to you.

 

 

Professional Associations that supported and/or endorsed the IAHA 2015 National Conference for CPD purposes:

ADEA Endorsed Educational Program

The Australian Diabetes Educators Association (ADEA) certifies that the IAHA 2015 National Conference meets the criteria for 1 Continuing Professional Development (CPD) point per delivery hour; maximum 7 CPD points per day; maximum 14 CPD points claimable for the full conference.

Endorsed by APA Learning & Development

The IAHA 2015 National Conference has been endorsed by the Australian Physiotherapy Association (APA). Physiotherapists can claim the appropriate number of CPD hours in accordance with the Physiotherapy Board of Australia’s CPD registration standard.

Exercise & Sports Science Australia (ESSA)

The Exercise & Sports Science Australia (ESSA) Professional Development Committee certifies that the IAHA 2015 National Conference meets the criteria for 1 Continuing Professional Development (CPD) point per delivery hour; maximum 7.5 CPD points per day; maximum 15 CPD points claimable for the full conference.

Osteopathy Australia Endorsed Course

The IAHA 2015 National Conference meets the requirements for CPD set by the Osteopathy Australia CPD standards. The Osteopathy Board of Australia have set CPD standards based on an hourly rate, so each hour of attendance is recorded as 1 hour CPD, to a maximum of 15 hours for the whole event.

Australian Association of Social Workers (AASW

The Australian Association of Social Workers (AASW) endorses the IAHA 2015 National Conference for the purposes of continuing professional development (CPD).  AASW considers professional development from a time based system, so each hour of attendance is recorded as 1 hour CPD, to a maximum of 15 hours for the whole event.

Occupational Therapy Australia

Occupational Therapy Australia supports the IAHA 2015 National Conference. Occupational Therapists can claim the appropriate number of CPD hours in accordance with the Occupational Therapy Board of Australia’s CPD registration standard.

Optometry Australia

Optometry Australia supports the IAHA 2015 National Conference. Optometrists can claim the appropriate number of CPD hours in accordance with the Optometry Board of Australia’s CPD registration standard.  Attendance at the full conference would qualify for up to 13.5 Non-Clinical and 2 Clinical CPD points (which can be logged towards the board’s required CPD quota as unaccredited CPD points).

Dietitians Association of Australia

The Dietitians Association of Australia supports the IAHA 2015 National Conference. Accredited Practising Dietitians can record CPD hours from this conference if it supports their learning goals as required by the APD program.
