Aboriginal Allied Health Network Forum

The Aboriginal allied health forum is a collaboration between the Health Education and Training Institute (HETI), the Ministry of Health (Workforce Planning & Talent Development Branch) and Indigenous Allied Health Australia (IAHA).

This year forums will be held on 8 May and 13 November at the National Centre of Indigenous Excellence (NCIE) which is located on Gadigal country in the Eora Nation. The aim of the forum is to support the education, cultural and career development needs of existing and emerging Aboriginal allied health staff. The forum facilitator is Justin Noel, a Dhungutti man and principal consultant, Origin Communications Australia.

The forum is open to all Aboriginal allied health professionals, assistants, technicians
and cadets; mental health trainees and clinicians currently employed or completing a placement within NSW Health. All costs are covered for rural and remote attendees, including travel and accommodation. Please contact HETI at least two weeks prior to the event to make arrangements.
