Expressions of Interest sought from First Nations tutors _ First Nations Health
In 2010 the University of Melbourne implemented a Reconciliation Action Plan (RAP) and are now in the second phase of RAP2. Within the Faculty of Medicine, Dentistry and Health Sciences, the Melbourne Medical School has developed First Nations Health theme to be integrated with the whole of curriculum to ensure comprehensive and meaningful learning for medical students. The First Nations Health team consists of academics, educators and tutors who work collectively in areas of Partnerships, Cultural Recognition, Teaching and Learning Strategies, Research, Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander support and engagement across the Medical Department.
We are seeking more sessional tutors with an interest in teaching First Nations health to novice medical, nursing and allied health professions students to join our team for 2021.
