IAHA National Conference Functions

Welcome Event 

The Welcome Event kicks off the 2022 IAHA National Conference providing delegates with an opportunity to connect and network in a friendly and safe interprofessional space. In addition, this event will include cultural experiences and a Welcome to Country by the Traditional Owners of the land where the conference is held.

The Welcome will be held on 28 November 2022 from 5.30pm – 7.30pm commencing with the Welcome to Country ceremony at Reconciliation Place then moving to the National Portrait Gallery.

2022 National Indigenous Allied Health Awards and Gala Dinner

This Gala Dinner is the premier national networking event in Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander allied health, a night of celebrating excellence and action. Tickets are available as part of a full conference registration; guest tickets are available for purchase.

This event will be held at the National Convention Centre, Canberra commencing at 6.45 for a 7pm start

Closing Event

The Closing Event will be the final session of the 2022 IAHA National Conference – providing delegates with an opportunity to connect, network and farewell each other in a friendly and safe interprofessional space. This event is a great way to end the 2022 IAHA National Conference and, in 2022, will feature our first IAHA Blak Market, supporting and promoting Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander businesses.
