IAHA welcome new Board of Directors

Indigenous Allied Health Australia held its 2020 Annual General Meeting on Thursday 15 October, hosting the meeting online for the first time in the organisation’s history.

IAHA are pleased to announce that Mr Tirritpa Ritchie, Ms Maddison Adams, Ms Patty Councillor and Mr Anthony Paulson were elected to the Board. They join IAHA Chairperson Ms Nicole Turner, Mr Stephen Corporal, Ms Kimberley Hunter and Dr Clinton Schultz on the IAHA 2020-21 Board of Directors.

IAHA Chairperson, Nicole Turner, welcomed the new and returning Directors saying:
“As a Board, we are excited to welcome Patty and Anthony, and their cultural and professional skills, knowledges and perspectives, to the Board of Directors. We also welcome back Tirritpa and Maddi who will continue to bring so much to the Board.

As a collective, the IAHA Board will provide the strategic governance and leadership to continue to take the organisation forward at an exciting time. We believe that we have a good diversity of skills, cultural knowledge and geographical spread on the Board to maintain a strong position to implement IAHA’s Business Plan.

IAHA thank outgoing directors, Dr Danielle Dries and Ms Rikki Fischer, for their hard work and contributions to the organisation as Directors. We look forward to continuing to work with Danielle and Rikki as members into the future and wish them well with their future endeavours.
