Proud Kamilaroi woman, born and raised on Kooma country in SW Qld. 2016 SRC Chairperson and this year acting in the role of Student Director for IAHA. A very motivated individual who wants to contribute to making a difference to the future health of First Nation Peoples of Australia. Always strives to conduct myself in all situations with integrity, discretion and humility. And while some may consider me quiet, I prefer to describe myself as measured and possessing the quiet determination and ability to present savvy ideas persuasively, as well as the drive and skill to see them adopted through a collaborative approach. I am keen to take responsibility and am adept at promoting a culture that respects the opinions and diversity of others. I am a strong advocate for growing a strong group of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander leaders in Allied Health, who will help overcome negative stereotypes, challenge unconscious biases and build capacity within communities.
