Thirrili Ltd delivers the National Indigenous Postvention Service across Australia and has taken a national leadership role in the provision of suicide postvention support and assistance to Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander individuals, families and communities.  Thirrili is a not for profit, Aboriginal controlled organisation and operates from a strengths-based approach. 

Thirrili employs a dedicated team of professionals to provide support across all states and territories.  We provide flexible working arrangements, including salary packaging opportunities.  We are also able to be flexible in our approach in terms of employment arrangements, including consultancy and fee for service options.

 

OPPORTUNITY TO JOIN OUR TEAM:  CLINICAL/PROFESSIONAL SUPERVISION SUPPORT

The National Indigenous Postvention Advocates (NIPA) act as a local response contact point for critical incident needs, and as required, leads local critical responses to suicide and other traumatic incidents involving death.  Our work includes provision of practical support to individuals, families and communities and supporting colleagues attending incidents.  We are looking for qualified persons to provide Clinical/Professional supervision to our teams.

Key requirements:

You must:

  • be an Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander person
  • hold qualifications, and have extensive experience, in either Psychology or Social Work
  • Able to demonstrate and provide evidence in statements addressing the Selection Criteria
