Community Events

IAHA attends and promotes careers in allied health for Indigenous people at community events such as career expos, footy knockouts and community celebrations such as NAIDOC.

We need you to let us know about those events and invite us to run a stall.

So if you’re having a big mob come to your event and you’d like us to come and promote careers in allied health, all you need to do is let us know at least 4 weeks before your event by filling out our Community Event form.

We will try to attend all community events to which we are invited but there may be times when it is not possible.

If you have any questions or require further information please read our frequently asked questions, read the Representing IAHA Fact Sheet and/or contact us.

“Being able to participate as a member at Vibe alive was encouraging in the fact that I could network with so many existing health professionals as well as have an impact on our future by reaching out to students in our regional schools.” Diane Bakon, Occupational Therapy student
