2022 IAHA National Conference

Wrap-up:
2022 IAHA National Conference
Past, present, future – transforming allied health.

The 2022 IAHA National Conference was held on 28 – 30 November, on the lands of Ngunnawal and Ngambri peoples of the ACT and surrounding regions.

The first in person conference since 2019, the 2022 IAHA National Conference brought together a record number of 383 delegates, with 112 delegates participating in pre-conference workshops and cultural activities. 44% of delegates were IAHA Members, creating an important, culturally responsive space for connection and sharing of knowledge amongst the Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander allied health workforce. With the support of Sponsors, IAHA were able to fund and facilitate 98 Professional Development Scholarships to support members to attend the conference.

IAHA thanks all the conference sponsors, supporters, and partners, as well as the Board Directors and IAHA staff, who all helped make the event happen.

A larger conference recap will be posted in the coming days, but in the meantime enjoy some photos below and save the 27th to 29th of November 2023 for the 2023 IAHA National Conference on the lands of the Kabi Kabi and Jinibara peoples, the Sunshine Coast of Queensland.
