The 2017 IAHA National Conference brought together our biggest delegation to date. More than 250 delegates attended the conference held at the Rendezvous Hotel in Scarborough, Western Australia.

The conference theme, Care, Cultures and Connection, reflected the three key factors that influence the health and wellbeing of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples. Within an Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander and allied health context, building culturally responsive connections and relationships and valuing cultures, cultural knowledges and perspectives will contribute to the delivery of culturally safe and responsive care.
