Tell us in 90 seconds or less something about you and your journey in or support for allied health and you could win $1,500 towards your professional development. Be sure to mention “IAHA” or “Indigenous Allied Health Australia” and your profession or field of study.
Entries can be fun, serious, song, a dance, spoken word, it’s completely up to you!
The top three videos will be showcased at the IAHA National Conference where the winner will be announced.
How to enter
The competition is open to all IAHA members, including corporate.
To enter to win the $1,500 prize, create a short video (up to 90 seconds) using a smartphone or video camera. Tell us about your journey into allied health, it could be about:
- Your first job experience or learnings
- Your clinical placement
- Showcase your Allied Health role
- Your university involvement and journey
- showcase one of your projects or programs
- an opportunity through IAHA
You must say “IAHA” or “Indigenous Allied Health Australia” at least twice and state your profession.
To submit your application, upload it to YouTube, use #IAHA17, and send a link through to firstname.lastname@example.org.
Competition closes on 11:59pm (AEST) Sunday 29 October 2017.
The winner will be decided by a panel with IAHA Board members and external stakeholder. By entering, you grant Indigenous Allied Health Australia a royalty free licence to publish the video (in whole or in part) for our educational and promotional purposes.
The top three entries will be shown at the members forum in Perth on 30 November 2017, where the winner will be announced. You do not have to be present at the members forum to win the prize.
