Toolkit

Career toolkit

The Indigenous Allied Health Australia (IAHA) Careers Toolkit, currently under development, is designed to promote allied health career opportunities and identify the pathways into successful allied health careers for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people.

IAHA recognise that a career in allied health is full of opportunities to learn, grow, achieve, collaborate, network and contribute to improving the health and social and emotional wellbeing of the community and Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander health generally.

The careers toolkit will include lesson plans for high school students featuring a diverse range allied health careers and resources and support to help people along the way. It will also feature the pathways and experiences of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people who are training for, or working in, those professions; helping students to identify their leadership and development aspirations.
