Welcome Event
The Welcome Event kicks off the 2024 IAHA National Conference providing delegates with an opportunityto connect and network in a friendly and safe interprofessional space. In addition, this event will include cultural experiences and a Welcome to Country by the Traditional Owners of the land where the conference is held.

Entertainment by Tilly Tjala Thomas
Tilly Tjala Thomas is a Nukunu singer-songwriter, who grew up on the Fleurieu Peninsula, South of Adelaide. Since finishing school in 2020, the electronic pop and indie musician has bagged numerous industry accolades, including Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Musician of the Year, NIMA Unearthed Award at the 2021 National Indigenous Music Awards and the Emily Burrows Award at the 2021 South Australian Music Awards.
Tilly was awarded the Stigwood Artist Fellowship (2022) and released her first EP, Sanctuary.
2024 National Excellence in Allied Health Awards and Gala Dinner
This Gala Dinner is the premier national networking event in Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander allied health, a night of celebrating excellence and action featuring the National Excellence in Allied Health Awards.

Closing Event – IAHA Markets
The Closing Event will be the final session of the 2024 IAHA National Conference – providing delegates with an opportunity to connect, network and farewell each other in a friendly and safe interprofessional space. This event is a great way to end the Conference and will feature our IAHA Markets, supporting and promoting Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander businesses.

Entertainment by Nathan May
Nathan May is an Arabana, Yawuru and Marridjabin man living on Kaurna country with his young family. He has been developing his talent since the age of three, when he began playing drums at church in Darwin. Nathan has gone on to play drums with Marlon x Rulla 2020-22 including Womadelaide 2021 and Emily Wurramara 2022-present including Bluesfest Byron 2022.
