IAHA strives to provide professional development opportunities and self-care support through webinars that focus on specific health topics of interest across the collective membership of IAHA. These opportunities are promoted through the IAHA Newsfeed, Communiques and Social Media throughout the year.
Register now for NAIDOC Week Webinars:
IAHA is hosting a series of webinars throughout NAIDOC week for our members to connect, celebrate our culture and be ‘Blak, Loud and Proud!’ The series of workshops aims to cater to all different styles and preferences of tapping into our wellbeing by creating space to come together, laugh, and connect with culture.
Each session will go for 1 to 1.5 hours and run via Zoom. Where equipment is required, we will send you a pack with everything you need to participate.
Details are provided below on what each workshop will involve. Workshops will be held subject to interest, and specific workshops may be capped and/or closed at a particular time due to logistical considerations in posting equipment and resources, so we encourage you to register early.
Closing dates for each session are also listed below. Workshops being offered:
- Cuppa and a yarn – Bring your favourite mug and be ready to share a yarn with your IAHA family.
- Monday 8th July
- 2:30 pm AEST, 2:00 pm ACST, 12:30 pm AWST
- Register by Sunday, 7th July
- IAHA Men’s Group yarn – The yarning session will focus on NAIDOC Week and the theme ‘Keep the Fire Burning! Blak, Loud and Proud.”

- Register by Close Of Business (COB) Tuesday, 9th July
- Jewellery Making – Learn how to make earrings using polymer clay. Use the clay to roll out your tension while having a yarn.
- Thursday 11th July
- 6:30 pm AEST, 6:00 pm ACST, 4:30 pm AWST (limited places available, max 30)
- Register by COB Monday, 1st July – please include your postal address so we can send you materials
