National Business Relationships Manager

  • Position: National Business Relationships Manager
  • Location: Canberra, ACT (preferred)
  • Salary: $138,897 – $164,446 plus superannuation and salary packaging
  • Hours: Full Time – 37.5 Hours per week (Working outside of normal business hours and some travel is required).
  • Contract: Fixed term to 30 June 2026

The Business Operations Lead will be responsible for identifying process improvement opportunities and implementing strategies to optimise IAHA’s business systems, processes and governance, providing high quality and timely support to the Senior Executive, IAHA Secretariat, members and Board of Directors, and managing human resources, procurement, reporting, and contract management, including overseeing business activities, programs and initiatives where directed.

Communications Officer

  • Position: Communications Officer
  • Location: Canberra, Sydney or Darwin (preferred)
  • Salary: $94,736 – $106,876 plus superannuation and salary packaging
  • Hours: Full Time – 37.5 Hours per week (Working outside of normal business hours and some travel is required).
  • Contract: Fixed term to 30 June 2026 

Indigenous Allied Health Australia (IAHA) is an innovative national Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander community-controlled organisation, working both at the national level and embedded and working in partnership with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities across Australia. The Communications Officer plays a key role in managing how IAHA connects and communicates with a diverse range of stakeholders and members, including national marketing coordination across multiple platforms and contract management.

Business Support Officer - IAHA NT Workforce Development

  • Position: IAHA NT Workforce Development – Business Support Officer
  • Location: Darwin (preferred), or elsewhere in the Northern Territory as agreed
  • Salary: $79,958 – $92,763 pending experience plus superannuation and salary packaging
  • Reports to: IAHA Deputy Chief Executive Officer
  • Hours: Full time – 37.5 Hours per week. (Working outside of normal business hours and some travel is required).
  • Contract: Fixed term to 30 June 2026 with possibility of extension

IAHA NT Workforce Development is a wholly owned subsidiary company of Indigenous Allied Health Australia (IAHA), established as a local, Northern Territory organisation working to improve education, training, employment, health and wellbeing outcomes with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people, families, and communities across the NT and Northern Australia more broadly.

The IAHA NT Workforce Development Business Support Officer will contribute to the implementation of key IAHA NT Workforce Development programs, initiatives and activities by providing high-level administrative and/or project management support.

IAHA Academy Program Support Officer

  • Position: IAHA Academy Program Support Officer
  • Location: Canberra
  • Salary: $84,627 – $91,520 plus superannuation and salary packaging
  • Reports to: IAHA Academy Senior Program Officer and Academy Regional Lead
  • Hours: Full time – 37.5 Hours per week. (Working outside of normal business hours and some travel is required).
  • Contract: Fixed term to 30 June 2026 with possibility of extension

This role is an identified position open to Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander candidates only. This is intended to constitute a special measure in line with the Discrimination Act 1991 (ACT) subsection 27 (1)(b) and the Racial Discrimination Act 1975 (Cth) subsection 8(1).

The IAHA National Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Health Academy is a major and innovative program designed to create supportive, culturally informed, and localised pathways for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people to pursue careers in health, primarily through school-based traineeships. A national program with key success factors, the Academy is delivered in a tailored and place-based way to be a cultural and community fit in each location, including a program servicing the ACT and surrounding region.

The Program Support Officer plays a crucial role in ensuring the delivery, growth, and development of the program through supporting the success of young people and providing tailored and holistic support to trainees. This includes supporting the day-to-day operations, building relationships through regular student and community engagement, and working with stakeholders involved in the program delivery, such as schools and Registered Training Organisations and including relationships with the national program.

Northern NSW Senior Program Officer (Academy)

  • Location: Lismore, Northern Rivers NSW
  • Salary: $94,736 – $106,876 plus superannuation
  • Reports to: NSW Academy Regional Lead
  • Hours: Full time – 37.5 Hours per week. (Working outside of normal business hours and some travel is required).
  • Contract: Fixed term to 30 June 2026 with possibility of extension

This role is an identified position open to Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander candidates only. This is intended to constitute a special measure in line with the Discrimination Act 1991 (ACT) subsection 27 (1)(b) and the Racial Discrimination Act 1975 (Cth) subsection 8(1).

In NNSW, the program is primarily based at the Southern Cross University Lismore Campus supporting student across the Northern Rivers Region, with a satellite cohort in the Tweed.
