The 2022 IAHA National Conference has an exciting program of social events including:

Welcome Event

The Welcome Event kicks off the 2022 IAHA National Conference providing delegates with an opportunity to connect and network in a friendly and safe interprofessional space. This event will include cultural experiences and a Welcome to Country by the Traditional Owners of the land where the conference is being held.

Gala Dinner and the 2022 Indigenous Allied Health Awards

Purpose of the IAHA National Indigenous Allied Health Awards is to recognise the contribution of IAHA members to their profession and/or improving the health and wellbeing of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples.

The IAHA National Indigenous Allied Health Awards showcase the outstanding achievements in Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander allied health and provides identifiable allied health role models to inspire all Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people to consider and pursue a career in allied health.

Inaugural IAHA Blak Market

A focus of our Conference Closing Event will be the inaugural IAHA Blak Market. This market will feature and promote Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander businesses to our delegates and the wider IAHA Community.

We are looking for stallholders;

  • Artists
  • Designers
  • Jewellery makers
  • Clothing Designers
  • Products such as candles, soaps or books
