Welcome Event

The Welcome Event kicks off the 2023 IAHA National Conference providing delegates with an opportunity to connect and network in a friendly and safe interprofessional space. In addition, this event will include cultural experiences and a Welcome to Country by the Traditional Owners of the land where the conference is held.

2023 National Indigenous Allied Health Awards and Gala Dinner 

The purpose of the IAHA National Indigenous Allied Health Awards is to recognise the contribution of IAHA members to their profession and/or improving the health and wellbeing of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples. The IAHA National Indigenous Allied Health Awards showcase the outstanding achievements in Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander allied health and provides identifiable allied health role models to inspire all Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people to consider and pursue a career in allied health.

• Tuesday 28 November 2023 
• 6.45pm for a 7pm start 

This Gala Dinner is the premier national networking event in Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander allied health, a night of celebrating excellence and action.  Tickets are available as part of a full conference registration; guest tickets are available for purchase. 

Closing Event 

This year our 2023 IAHA National Conference will be hosting our IAHA Markets for our closing event. These markets will feature and promote Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander businesses to our delegates and the wider Sunshine Coast Community, by allowing First Nation peoples to showcase culture, in the way of displaying different items, products and the innovative ideas.
