Research Leadership and Development Opportunities – The Centre for Rural and Remote Health


The Centre for Rural and Remote Health (CRRH), James Cook University (JCU) is part of a national network of university departments of rural health head quartered in Mount Isa, with nodes in Cloncurry, Longreach and Weipa.
They now have three exciting opportunities to join their multi-disciplinary team on fixed term appointments to 31 December 2022 in Mount Isa at the Centre for Rural and Remote Health:
• Senior Principal / Principal Research Fellow (16849)
As an integral part of our dynamic and progressive team, you will have the unique opportunity to lead the research and research capacity relevant to our centre’s primary goal to improve the health workforce, health services and health of rural and remote and Indigenous populations.
• Senior Research Fellow (16870)
Contribute to the development of strategic research and research education relevant to rural, remote and Indigenous health, health services and workforce through development of a community of researchers, network collaboration and support of novice researchers, students and other health professionals undertaking research.
• Research Officer (16871)
Undertaking a specific research project in collaboration with the research team and collaborative partners, you will have the unique opportunity to contribute to a strategic remote health research project on health workforce safety in remote areas of Australia and undertake a high degree.
